What is the difference between messages, notifications, and Q&As?

Messages are communications between contracted freelancers and hiring managers.

Notifications are system generated alerts to inform the user to new information or prompt the user to take necessary action. For example: A new program to bid on, a freelancer has sent his/her expense report, or an offer has been received.

The Q&A section allows the freelancer and hiring manager to communicate prior to contracting all positions and remains open until all positions have been contracted. Q&A communications are not private and can be seen by all Freelancer.
