Your profile is your introduction to the client. Put your BEST YOU forward.
Here are some quick tips:
- In About You. Stop using generalizations or overused buzzwords. Be specific or highlight accomplishments.
- If you have planning skills also highlight planning in your Experience. You will receive more opportunities.
- Add to your Work Experience even if it is not a Cadre client. It gives the client a birdseye view of your skills and accomplishments; the type of programs you worked and the role you played.
- Get star reviews. Reach out for recommendations to both your Cadre clients and clients outside of Cadre to give you a "star review"
- A video may not be required but it certainly can help. It gives the client a view of your communication style and professional appearance.
- Avoid being too casual or "laissez-faire". You may be interviewing via Zoom, but your appearance and your professionalism can be either a deal breaker or a deal maker.
- Do not be multi-tasking when interviewing. This is a dedicated time set by the client; the client deserves your full attention.
